New Construction Home Inspection

It's important to have a Home Inspection Performed on a home even if it is new construction. Here is a house that was in good shape, but had a couple of issues that needed repaired. Thankfully the house was still under warranty.


Weather Stripping Coming Off Door


Left Corner above Window has significant crack.

Wiring under HVAC system has been cut by sharp metal from HVAC surround.

Trim on Garage Door is loose in areas.

Termites!

It is very important to not to leave any kind of wood stacked close to your home. Here are 4 peices of lumber that were left next to a porch for about a week. You will see in the pictures when we lift up the boards just how many termites populated in that short period of time.

This fan is an ordinary box fan that was turned into an attic fan. The plug was cut off of the cord and then it was hardwired into the electrical in the attic.
